NUKES is our New Ukulele Strummers Group

Formed by Scott Petrie and Jon Coop, we will be playing on Tuesdays between 10:00 and 12:00 at Knights Court, Wellingborough.

The group will be suitable for all abilities, as all of us will be playing together and the more experienced players will be on hand to advise on chord shapes and strum patterns. We will have a few Ukuleles available to try but if you have your own ukulele that’s great. You will need a music stand for the music/tablet.

Paper copies of the music and playlists plus chord sheets will be available although at a later date you may find a tablet would be useful (iPad, Samsung etc.)

Once we are well rehearsed we may look into performing gigs, but that will only be some time in the future and provided everyone is in agreement after a NUKEs meeting, so no pressure, let’s just learn and enjoy the happy little instrument known as the Ukulele.
